There is an option to show a close box on each tab (tabs can also be closed by doube clicking on them).
The Change or set password enables the entire Max My Gift Application to be only accessed using a password when it is first started. It is set per user of the application on the computer and is intended to prevent access when other users use the same user account.
To clear the password leave the entries blank (after entering the current password).
The Proxy settings are used to allow Max My Gift to access the Government Gateway when the route to the Internet is via a proxy server.
The Gateway settings control how many times Max My Gift attempts to get a response from the Government Gateway befoe giving up. It also controls the number of donations submitted via the Gateway in compressed or uncompressed format.
