Connected Charities List
Connected Charities are only required if you are claiming on the main £5,000 amount under the GASDS. If you are only claiming on the community buildings amount, you do not need to complete this schedule. For more information on claiming under the community buildings rules, see the 'more useful guides' link at the end of this guide.
In broad terms, a charity or CASC is connected to another in a tax year if they:
have the same or substantially similar purposes and activities
are controlled by the same or connected persons
Connected organisations that claim a top-up payment for the year will share the maximum £5,000 donations limit between them.
